Ceremonial Flag

image by Hemendra Bhola, 15 June 2010

Images of this flag can be seen on the Government Information Agency and GDF websites. Used mostly on ceremonial occasions such as the Independence Day and Republic Day flag raising ceremonies. The central emblem is re-created based on the pictures of the flag I have found as accurately as I could. As such there is a chance that the details may be different than the actual flag.

image by Hemendra Bhola, 28 June 2010

This flag is often seen with the Guyana Defence Force Colours.Used mostly
on ceremonial occasions such as the Independence Day and Republic Day flag
raising ceremonies. The emblem appears to be the same as the one on the GDF
Colour based on the pictures of this flag i have seen.

I came across an image of the Guyana coast guard flag on the GDFS Essequibo Ship. The previous flag that I reported had the Coast Guard emblem on a white background. The actual flag has the emblem on a dark blue background.

An image of reported by myself, was blurry. I have done a more clear design of the flag of the Guyana Defence Force-Coast Guard.
